Sample Requirement
We accept plasmid DNA (150-200ng/ul, 15ul) and purified PCR products (15-20ng/ul, volume For plasmid sample, please specify vector name and insert length.
>For PCR sample, please indicate the length of insert (bp).

Please indicate the concentration of the primer enclosed with sample.

The following primers are provided free of charge: M13+, M13-, T7, T3, T7 Terminator, SP6, pGEX5’, pGEX3′, BGH rev.
Samples are permanently destroyed after two months.

Terms & Conditions
1. Terms
Medigene will send electronically DNA sequencing results to customers. All results will be kept in medigene data base for 6 months. During this period, customer may request for sequencing results. After 6 months, DNA sequencing results are automatically destroyed without further notification.

DNA sequencing requests are only confirmed upon receipt of customer’s confirmation email or PO.

2. Turnaround
Medigene will make its best effort to send DNA sequencing results within 168 hours. For larger projects, time will vary depending on the size of the project. We will try our best to accommodate special time constraints whenever possible, and projects of more than one hundred reactions may still get 168 hours turn around. Mail-in samples need to be received before 12.00 noon time to catch the oversea delivery. If you send the sample by courier service, please email the tracking number to info@mdgsb.com.my and ict@mdgsb.com.my

3. Cancellations
Buyer may not cancel any order or return any samples without medigene’s consent. Cancellation and return charges may be imposed. Buyer is required to contact medigene to obtain a return material authorization number.

4. Warranty
Medigene guarantees > 800bp Q20 read length and more than 90% successful rate. Medigene does not guarantee any downstream application(s) or usage of the DNA sequencing results. Any claims or dispute must be submitted within 2 weeks after shipment. At the time of shipment, medigene keeps a data base for unexpected incidents and/or disputes. Medigene reserves the right to refuse handling disputes after period of 3 months.

5. Prices
Medigene unit prices for DNA sequencing tests apply only to the specific quantity, sample purification and primer synthesis. All prices are subject to correction of errors; medigene reserves the right to adjust prices on orders during production due to changes in cost of materials, transportation or wages.

Failed runs will be charged in full however medigene will repeat failed samples at least once. Any sample that sequences with secondary structures will not be considered a failed reaction and will not be repeated. Any tax, customs, surcharge or duty, howsoever denominated, imposed upon the sale, importation, delivery or use of Products shall be the responsibility of Buyer.
